Scrolling down, you will notice a brief overview for the "purpose" of this blog. I tried to keep it concise, but what over-thinker keeps things concise? Without further adieu, I shall elaborate:
A couple years back (about five years ago) I started a blog. But back then I didn't exactly have a purpose; I did not know what I was blogging for. Every blog I read was my source of inspiration and in a similar sense I felt that I had to change my life routine in order to make the blog grow. I never intended to make full-fledged "sacrifices" for a blog that may or may not have been successful.
One of the major things I enjoy reading in blogs is why it was first started. So here are a few reasons on my behalf:
#1 Sharing wishes and dreams is more fun when done together. I think a lot. Most often I don't have the opportunity to share anticipated life events such as weddings, relationships, trends, and womanly things because as simply as it sounds, life happens. To keep all these ideas to oneself can be overwhelming. Plus, it is so much more exciting to actually tell others all sorts of things and finding out that there are a lot of thoughts and things in common between two people. Which leads me to my next point...
#2 I'd like to get to know my readers. It's true! Blogging about certain topics should be feel like you are writing to someone you just met, each specific person; almost if you are writing to them by name. So they know you are writing for them, and you know that they are listening. Simply, blogging should be like a conversation between you and your readers, rather than an online-public announcement. I appreciate your stay, I really do! So stop on by, leave a comment, introduce yourself!
#3 Well who doesn't like a good love story? Another thing I enjoy reading about in blogs is how she (I'm using "she" since, I have only been exposed to blogs run by women. Plus, it is safe to say that women are more likely to share romantic/wedding interests, right?) met her husband. It just gives us single ladies something to dream for, right? But it is the story of unity that really is amazing and heart-warming and naturally B E A U T I F U L. On this blog you may read a lot of love, relationships, and romance because the "perfect" age to get married is fast approaching!
What are some reasons you started a blog? (I'd love to stop by and read your blog!)
